We hope you are all safe and well and we thank you for your patience and understanding regarding the challenges we are facing with the 10th ECPP due to COVID-19.

Our original plan was to host the 10th ECPP in conjunction with the 13th NPHC this June. As you probably know, both conferences have been postponed due to COVID-19.

In order to avoid conflict with other conferences in the field of Positive Psychology, it has been decided that the 10th ECPP will take place 29 June- 2 July 2022 while the 13th NPHC will take place 25-27 August 2021, in Reykjavík, Iceland.

We sensed a strong interest in this merger but were not able to find new dates to allow both conferences to run at the same time. However, we will build on the work that has been done in the preparation for these conferences. Therefore, approved abstracts will keep their spots at either of these conferences. Although we will additionally have a new round of abstract submission later to include recent work in the field.

Please check the conference website regularly as it will be updated with more details in the future.

Registered participants can now choose whether their conference fee will continue to apply to either ECPP or NPHC and secure their place without any additional cost (even though the conference fee may increase), or request a refund of the fee minus the administration fee (in order to avoid ECPP going bankrupt). In exchange, all registered participants will be given access to an online conference on June 25th (9-16 GMT). This program will feature some selected keynotes and the theme will be:

Public Health and Positive Psychology in Times of COVID-19

Featuring: Felicia Huppert on Wellbeing is contagious too: Inner strength and compassion during and after COVID-19, Dora Gudmundsdottir on Health and wellbeing before and after COVID-19, Ilona Boniwell on Resilience, Lisa Vivoll Straume on Strengths, Hans Henrik Knoop on Constructive Journalism, Itai Ivtzan on Mindfulness and Meaning during COVID-19 as well as Iceland´s Response to the COVID-19 pandemic by Alma Möller the Director of Health in Iceland.

Further information will be sent out soon.

We kindly ask you to inform the conference agency whether you wish to keep your registration for ECPP, or get refunded, before May 30th.

On behalf of the 10th ECPP conference committee

Warm regards
